Welcome to our farm!
Here at Charlestown Farm, we love nothing more than sustainably growing delicious produce and sharing it with our local community.
We grow for 150 member families, who come to the farm to pick up their share of the harvest weekly during the growing season from late May to mid-November.
Some of our members have been coming out to the farm every week for nearly two decades!
There's so much more: our members can come any day of the week to pick herbs, fresh flowers and special vegetables from our "you-pick" garden. They can use our wood-fired pizza oven, go for a walk, let kids play in the sandbox or swing on the swings in our beautiful walnut trees.
We're based on Charlestown Road in Charlestown Township,
just two miles outside of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, a town with a growing food and craft beer scene, and the award-winning Saturday morning Phoenixville Farmers' Market, where we sell our produce all year long.
What's new in 2023?
At the end of every growing season, we spend time with our members to agree what we can do next year to keep the farm their favorite stop each week, and here are some highlights.
We're keeping our extended CSA pickup hours! They will be noon to 7 on Tuesdays & Thursdays
We're planting some exciting new seeds:
-
Piracicaba Broccoli , heat tolerant variety from Brazil for a longer season!
-
More Flowers, We're growing more dahlias for late season bouquets
-
More herbs including more rosemary, thyme and savory
We invite you to join us, either as a returning member or a new one!
