Each season, we offer several apprenticeships to people who are seriously considering a career in sustainable farming. We are committed to apprentice training, and seek talented young farmers who are excited to learn how to run an organic farm. Apprentices receive a stipend and live on the farm in a restored carriage house with a professional gourmet kitchen, access to hiking trails, and a swimming pond.

 

As an apprentice, you will gain valuable experience in all aspects of the farm's operations, including weekly learning sessions with the entire farm team.

 

Farming is physically demanding and requires daily problem solving in the field. We look for people who:

 

• Enjoy spending days outside

• Are detail-oriented and observant

• Enjoy working on a team, are a "people person"

• Take ownership of projects 

• Appreciate good food, especially cooking and preserving it

• Are willing to work hard, in all weather and on some Saturdays at the Phoenixville Farmers' Market

• Have an interest in sustainable agriculture
